New Zealand

Hello from Queenstown, NZ! I have been enjoying the amazing scenery and doing some of the outdoor activities offered! Our first full day we took a bus ride to Milford Sound and boat down the sound to the Tasman sea. It was beautiful and a fun way to start the NZ trip. The next day we hiked up a small mountain that you can also take the gondola up to a great site that overlooks all of Queenstown! There we  went on a luge ride and hiked back down. We already eaten at the famous Fergburger twice, which is known as the best burger in Queenstown if not the best in the world! I would say it rivals Shorts in Iowa City and the Burger Stand in Lawrence! Today was a thrilling day where I bungeed 143 meters on the Nevis bungee, the highest in Australiasia. It dropped for 8.5 seconds! It was the craziest thing I have every done! Tomorrow the boys are going on a all day fly fishing trip and me and McKenzie will check out the shops in Queenstown and we enjoy running in the morning along the lake. On Wed. morning we will start a 14 day bus trip to go around the south Island starting in Mt. Cook then to Christchurch. We will go far north to Nelson and back down the west side. The experience has been amazing and so much more still lies ahead.

Arrival: Sydney

I have just arrived in Sydney and will be here 24 hours until I head to NZ tomorrow morning. I picked the right day because the streets are busy for Australian Day, a national holiday. If the rain stops there will be fireworks tonight! Already taken the first pictures of the Sydney Opera house.
